Sup! This is Emma kicking off the 2020 blog season for BSF’s elite team and collegiate training!

A little about me: I graduated from MSU this past spring, got a pup named Rex who’s a major chiller, and strongly believe that Craigslist is the best and most reliable place to find a quality job.

This past spring I reluctantly took two weeks off from training, but it ended up being one of the best choices I have made. April and May were about fair weather training and listening to the body, while steadily working up to a more consistent training plan. With June rolling in, I am looking forward to long mountain runs and going floating in my llama floaty.

June 1st marked the “official” start of team training for both the elite team and collegiate group. Montana recently moved into Phase 2 of re-opening, allowing us to train in groups of up to 50 people. We have been feeling very fortunate to be able to train outside and with each other, but are making hand sanitizer our best friend to keep this a reality. While the status of the race season is up in the air, we are training like all is normal and working with the same intensity and excitement.

Every member of the elite team and collegiate group will be checking in here throughout the season, so keep checking back in if you want to see what we are up to!
