Hi all,
My name is Sarah Goble and I am the newest addition to the BSF Pro Team! We just wrapped up our first training camp of the year in Sjusjøen and Sognefjellet, Norway. In Sjusjøen, we had a focus of speed and intensity, mainly rollerskiing The Birken, a large running race in Lillehammer, coincided during our stay, so we all raced the 12K. It was great to mix it up and get in a race effort. In Sognefjellet, we were on snow and focused on volume, but still got in a solid intensity and speed session.
The camp was an awesome experience and it was fun to do something a bit different this time of year. Being with the team in Norway has really gotten me excited about BSF and this upcoming race season.
A little bit about me😊 I am originally from Harbor Springs, MI where I grew up skiing and running. I then went to Michigan Technological University where I competed in nordic skiing and cross country. I was living in Ketchum, Idaho until I joined BSF Pro in June.
There are quite a few reasons that I wanted to join BSF Pro this year; good training partners, coaching, and Bozeman has a lot to offer. Ultimately, at this level, we are all trying to be as fast as we can be. I truly believe that The BSF Pro team is the place for me to do that, and I am stoked to be here.
This summer, I am looking forward to getting out and exploring some new trails, both on foot and on bike. I also love coffee and I’ve heard Bozeman has some great coffee shops that I am going to have to check out!
I’m thrilled to be a part of The BSF Pro Team and train with my new teammates, so that we can all be as prepared as ever for the 22/23 calendar. I know this year is going to be great and I’m looking forward to this season with BSF Pro.
