Hi everyone! My name is Mae Chalmers. I’m from Landgrove, Vermont and I currently attend and ski for Middlebury College. Despite always fighting for the east over the west I am maybe changing my mind now.. Bozeman is an amazing place and it turns out the west coast is pretty sick. The biking here is no Landgrove but it’s pretty dang good. The running trails are gorgeous and there is even the opportunity to get in some skiing.
Even better I’ve gone fishing in some pretty sweet places and then also remembered that I never catch a single fish. Training with a different group of people in a new place is really fun and motivating and it has been great to get to know people outside of racing. Despite uncertain future plans, I feel very lucky to be here in this amazing place right now! Hope everyone is having a fun and productive summer.
