Hello! Sophia here from Yarmouth, Maine! I just ended my freshman year at Middlebury and am really stoked to spend the summer in Bozeman.

So far, Bozeman has set a great impression from the town itself and the training. Last Thursday, we went on a 3 hour ski adventure in Big Sky which was pretty unreal. It went by quick as I got easily distracted by the views as well as Ezra’s thrilling bear attack story from the night before. I took my fare share of wipe outs on the way down but the nice tan I got made up for it.

We just finished up another eventful OD adventure on Sunday when we were greeted with some lovely hail. I will say the weather in Bozeman really likes to spice things up–90 degrees one day and snowing the next. I’m definitely very grateful and feel lucky for the training opportunities we have here with everything going on, and that a little hail is my biggest worry.

I’m really looking forward to the rest of the summer here and starting to chip away at some of my goals to prep for next season (whenever that may be)!
