Fast Skiing from the Nordic Team in West Yellowstone

The BSF Nordic Team had a strong showing at the nearby races in West Yellowstone this past weekend with 40+ athletes racing on the Rendezvous trails.

In addition to many impressive results and performances, athletes made the best of cold temps and challenging conditions. Saturday's individual start skate race was a great demonstration of grit as athletes raced through inches of fresh powder and flurries of snowfall that lasted the whole day. Despite these slower conditions, BSF had representation on just about every age group and gender podium!

Sunday's mass start classic races kicked off (pun intended) with bluebird skies and crisp conditions. The tracks were perfect and BSF skied fast! Athletes braved the cold after their own races to cheer on teammates and enjoy the little pockets of sun that could be found between trees. The team will be in town training, resting, and trying to stay warm for the next week and a half before heading to Sun Valley for the final JNQ races of the season!
