It isn’t easy keeping track of the BSF Pro Team, with athletes racing all over the U.S. and over in Europe. Here’s a quick peak at some of their recent highlights.

(Note: updated to include additional races on 2/18/25)

Bozeman Super Tour

The U.S. Super Tour rolled into Bozeman for the first time in several years, with races taking place at Crosscut in conjunction with collegiate racing all hosted by Montana State University.

First-year team member Anders Weiss had a breakout performance, taking 2nd place overall in the freestyle sprint. "I had some excellent training sessions throughout the summer and fall, which gave me confidence in what I know I am capable of," Anders noted. "Now, going forward, I want to focus on how I can access that potential more reliably and improve it even further."

World Cup in Cogne, Italy

BSF’s Emma Albrecht and Erin Bianco earned World Cup starts after their strong showing at U.S. Nationals in early January. The two paired up to represent Team USA in the sprint relay race, racing to 14th in the preliminary heats and earning a spot in the finals, where they took 15th overall.

U23  World Championships, Italy

BSF Pro skier Nina Seeman earned a spot on Team USA for the FIS U23 World Championships in Shilpario, Italy. Nina raced to a 20th place in the classic sprint, and was 31st in the 20 KM classic.

Norway

Erin and Emma, along with Coach Andy Newell, left Italy for a training camp in Sjusjoen, Norway, where most of the World Cup athletes have been spending time to prepare for the Fulun World Cup races and then the World Championships. Erin did a fun interview with several of the U.S. athletes over on the Nordic blog

Boulder Mountain Tour

Five BSF Pro Team men finished in the top 11 during the Boulder Mountain Tour in Idaho: Reid Goble (3), Anders Weiss (4), Willson Moore (8), Max Kluck (10), and Simon Zink (11). Two BSF alums snuck into the top 10 in the women’s race: Erika Flowers was 5th and Hannah Rudd 6th.

Vasaloppet USA

Willson Moore won the Vasaloppet USA 45 km classic race in Mora, Minnesota, with only three seconds separating the top three skiers in a 2-plus hour race. The day before, he took 2nd in the 48 km freestyle race!

February 18 Updates

It was a great weekend for the BSF PRO Team.

At the Para World Championships, BSF Pro athlete Reid Goble skied as the guide to Jake Adicoff as they took a gold in the 10 km Classic. (Jake is a well-decorated Para skier, and he has a long history of teaming up with Montana skiers.)

At the Falun World Cup races in Sweden, Erin Bianco and Emma Albrecht raced to 33rd and 41st, respectively. Plus on the home turf, Anders Weiss took first in the Crosscut Classic.
